PPP capacity building in Bulgaria
This November a mission to Sofia, Bulgaria was undertaken to provide a three day training on the development of PPP. The training is part of ECORYS’ assignment to provide assistance on the capacity development of the officials and employees of Bulgarian public authorities.
Waste to energy in Rotterdam
The Rotterdam Development Corporation (OBR) initiated a project team to deal with the restart of development of a city heating company in Rotterdam. The city heating company will tap residual heat from waste incineration plants and use this heat to produce substantial extra capacity to the city’s heating network.
Increasing lobby for broadening the A1 in the Netherlands
The regional business community in the neighbourhood of Apeldoorn and Twente commissioned ECORYS to investigate the necessity of capacity expansion of the A1 highway between Apeldoorn and the German border and the possibilities of financing this capacity expansion.
